Job Description:

Raritan Valley Community College is currently seeking Adjunct Instructors to teach Introduction to Sociology during Fall 2025 semester.

The purpose of this course is to provide a systematic investigation of the basic concepts and principles of sociology with emphasis on culture, social relationships, groups, institutions, social structure and the fundamental sociology theories.

Candidates should be available to teach day-time and/or evening courses, as well as online courses.

Requirements:

*Minimum Qualifications:*

Master's degree in Sociology from an accredited college or university is required; Ph.D. preferred.

Minimum of two years' teaching experience in Sociology required; college level preferred.
