Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant & Tax Preparer - CPA with technical expertise to communicate with clients about financial analysis, tax preparation, and filing.

• Analyzing financial information, and preparing accurate financial reports.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual sales tax and payroll filings.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with multi-state payroll processes and registrations are a plus.
• Strong accounting skills with a solid understanding of debit and credit principles are essential.
• Seeking a candidate with experience in audit representation is a plus to deliver comprehensive auditing services, including financial reviews, familiarity with GAAS, and audit report preparation for federal, state, and non-profit sectors.
• Assist in audit preparations and liaise with auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.
• Prepare and review complex tax returns (e.g., 1040, 1120, 1065, 990) to ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Experience working with federal, state, local entities, and non-profit organizations is preferred.
• The ability to respond to state and IRS notices is a plus.
• Proficiency in Hindi is a plus for client interactions.
• This is a full-time, in-person position.

Job Specifications:

• Qualification - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related field; CA / CPA certification is required.

• Experience - Min. 5 Yrs. in US Accounting / Tax

• Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial procedures

• Thorough knowledge of preparing and reviewing US Individual & Corporate tax returns

• Hands-on experience in QuickBooks Desktop and Online is a plus.

• Advanced MS Excel knowledge (familiarity with formulas, VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)

• Knowledge & Hands-on experience in a payroll process with multi-state registrations is a plus.

• Being able to respond to state and IRS notices is a plus.

• Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills and professional development.

• Good verbal & written English & Hindi communication skills.
