South Jersey Smiles is looking for an exceptional Surgical Dental Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, high-quality practice focused on comprehensive dentistry, implant surgery, sedation, and digital workflows.

This isn't a "sterilize rooms and pass instruments" position.

We're looking for someone who wants to grow into one of the most valuable members of our clinical team while helping change patients' lives every day.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll work closely with the doctor in advanced procedures including:

• Dental implant surgery
• Bone grafting and sinus augmentation
• Oral conscious sedation cases
• Surgical extractions
• Full-arch implant cases (experience preferred)
• Digital photography
• Intraoral scanning (Medit)
• CBCT imaging
• 3D printing surgical guides, models, and appliances
• Digital treatment planning
• Patient education and post-operative care
• You'll be trusted with meaningful responsibility—not simply assisting chairside.

We're Looking For Someone Who...

• Has surgical dental assisting experience
• Has experience with 3D printing or is excited to become an expert
• Enjoys learning new technology
• Can anticipate the doctor's needs during surgery
• Stays calm under pressure
• Takes ownership instead of waiting to be told what to do
• Loves helping anxious patients feel comfortable Is kind, humble, dependable, and highly coachable
• Wants to build a long-term career—not just find another job
• Bonus Qualifications RDA or EFDA certification
• Implant surgery experience
• Sedation experience
• CBCT experience
• Medit or other intraoral scanner experience 3Shape, Exocad, Blue Sky Plan, or similar digital software
• Experience operating resin or filament 3D printers
• Experience with digital smile design or guided surgery workflow
