Warehouse Driver
Key Responsibilities - Safely operate an 18-wheeler (CDL A required) to transport goods between company warehouses and customer locations.
- Load and unload trailers using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Verify shipment accuracy and maintain proper documentation for all deliveries and receipts.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including staging, labeling, and organizing inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid
CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 1–2 years of CDL A driving experience (preferred in a manufacturing or distribution environment).
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Strong understanding of shipping/receiving processes and inventory handling.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Customer service mindset for handling deliveries professionally.
