Welcome! ¡Bienvenidos! I’m Alexa Santana, proud owner of the first-ever State Farm Agency in Rahway, New Jersey. As a bilingual agent (hablo Inglés y Español) and lifelong Central New Jersey resident, I’ve built my agency on connection, compassion, and commitment. With a Bachelor of Science from Centenary University and over 23 years of State Farm experience, I earned the opportunity to open my doors as an agent in April 2021. Becoming a State Farm Agent isn’t something that happens overnight—it’s a journey built on helping others, something I’m deeply passionate about. Being a Legacy Agent (my parents are also State Farm Agents), this career is more than a job—it’s part of my family and my purpose. But my most important role? I’m a proud mom to an amazing child with autism. Being a special needs parent has shaped how I lead with empathy, advocate fiercely, and celebrate every milestone—at home and in business. My passion is helping others feel confident about their future by preparing for the unexpected and making space for their goals and dreams. We’re here to serve the communities of New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania with Automobile, Homeowners, Renters, Condominium, Commercial, Pet, and Life Insurance. You can find us in the heart of the Rahway Arts District inside The Mall on East Cherry Street, right across from The Waiting Room Restaurant. ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member for Alexa Santana - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services. Grow your career as you better your community. As an attentive, sociable, and sales-minded professional, we are eager to have you on our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage customer accounts and update information in the database.
- Assist customers with policy changes and inquiries.
- Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status.
- Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred.
