On a typical day, our Specialist in CMM Programming and Quality Assurance ensures that our products meet the highest standards of accuracy and quality. Your expertise transforms raw materials into precisely machined parts ready for market.
Essential Requirements:
- Technical education or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5-7 years of inspection and testing experience in manufacturing environments.
- Skillful in CMM programming and using GD&T for quality inspections.
- Ability to operate optical and mechanical inspection tools.
- Thorough knowledge of ISO9001 / AS9100 and quality methodologies.
- Proficient in communication and Microsoft Office applications.
- US Citizenship is a requirement.
Your Role Involves:
- Managing CMM programs, ensuring product compliance and effectiveness.
- Inspecting and analyzing parts with CAD.
- Correlating with cross-functional teams to tackle project hurdles.
- Documenting inspections, managing calibration, and reporting findings.
- Optimize quality control workflows for efficiency.
- Assisting in training and process documentation for continuous improvement.
**Additional Duties / Responsibilities
- Abide by all safety, quality, housekeeping and company policies/procedures to ensure compliance to all regulatory and internal system requirements
- Contribute to a positive and cooperative work environment through effective communication at all levels internal and external to the organization
- Actively participate in team meetings, improvement initiatives/programs, etc. and respond to actions, in support of company initiatives/goals, as directed
- Consistently demonstrate commitment to company values
- Actively support the timely closure of initiatives and activities, through effective interaction with individuals both internal and external to the Marotta organization (as required)
- Keep management informed of area activities and of any significant problems
- Assume responsibility for related duties as required or assigned
- Ensure that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained
- Complete special projects and miscellaneous assignments as required
