Dispensing Audiologist

We are a well-established clinical / dispensing hearing aid practice in the Summit, NJ area currently seeking an Audiologist who is driven, self-motivated, and passionate about helping patients hear well again.
The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of post-licensure experience in audiology and hearing aid dispensing, have strong clinical and hearing aid sales and dispensing skills, and be able to effectively counsel while building patient rapport. Our practice has been in business for 37 years and we have a well-known and respected reputation. The office is close to public transportation. The staff consists of 3 providers and 2 office staff, the hours are Monday Friday 9-5.
The position available is for a full-time Audiologist with a Masters or Au.D with a dispensing license (preferably NJ) who loves the challenge of fitting the best hearing aid for their patient and following through for an outstanding patient experience.
Clinical evaluations include basic comprehensive audiological assessment, tympanogram, acoustic reflex, reflex decay, QSIN, Real Ear, Soundfield testing, Tinnitus Assessment.
Qualifications
Minimum one (1) year of post licensure experience in hearing aid dispensing and clinical audiology.
. Proven track record of hearing care sales.
Masters Degree in Audiology or Au.D.
Must have, or be able to obtain New Jersey State licensure for Audiology and
Hearing Aid Dispensing


Daily tasks and responsibilities
Establish effective rapport and gather history from patients; conduct audiometric testing; counsel patients with realistic expectations; and make recommendations for hearing aids.
Make ear impressions, ear molds, and order instruments.
Fit hearing aids and assist with any adjustments, questions or problems.
Maintain documentation and patient files
