Position Overview
Savia Community Counseling Services is seeking a trained EMDR Therapist to join our growing Outpatient Department. This position is ideal for a clinician passionate about trauma-informed care and interested in building a steady caseload within a supportive, collaborative team environment. The selected candidate will provide high-quality clinical services utilizing EMDR and other evidence-based modalities to children, adolescents, and/or adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, and related concerns.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide individual therapy services using EMDR and other evidence-based interventions
Complete biopsychosocial assessments and treatment plans
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
Collaborate with supervisors and interdisciplinary team members
Monthly Case Consultation Calls
Maintain productivity expectations aligned with 13 weekly hours
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
Active NJ license (LAC, LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, etc.)
EMDR trained (EMDRIA approved training required)
EMDR Certification preferred but not required
Experience working with trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders
Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills
Bilingual is a plus but not required
