Compensation: $22/hour- Part-Time

Join our dynamic team at Wellness Recovery Center NJ in West Windsor, NJ! Wellness Recovery Center, is a proud member of the Quadrant Health Group. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Environmental Services Technician to join our growing team in West Windsor, NJ.
The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment across Wellness Recovery Center NJ facilities and vehicles. This role directly supports client care, infection control standards, and overall operational excellence. This position requires attention to detail, consistency, and accountability in maintaining clinical environments.
Key Responsibilities
Facility Cleaning & Sanitation
● Maintain cleanliness of all clinical areas, offices, group rooms, bathrooms, and common spaces.
● Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
● Sanitize high-touch areas (door handles, railings, countertops, shared equipment).
● Clean and restock bathrooms (toilet paper, soap, paper towels).
● Ensure trash is removed regularly and disposed of properly.
● Report any damage, maintenance issues, or safety concerns immediately.
Vehicle Maintenance (Critical Responsibility)
● Vacuum all company vans on a weekly basis.
● Wipe down and disinfect the interior of vans, including:
- Seats
- Handles and seatbelts
- Dashboard and touchpoints.
● Remove trash and ensure vans remain clean, organized, and client-ready Report any damage, maintenance issues, or safety concerns immediately.
Inventory & Supplies
● Monitor cleaning supply levels and notify supervisor when restocking is needed.
● Ensure cleaning equipment is maintained and stored appropriately.
Expectations & Performance Standards
● Maintain a high level of cleanliness at all times—this is a client-facing healthcare environment.
● Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and consistency in completing assigned duties.
● Work collaboratively with clinical and operations teams.
● Take initiative—do not wait to be told when an area needs attention.
● Uphold professionalism and respect in all interactions.
What You'll Bring:
Qualifications
● High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
● Prior experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or janitorial work (healthcare setting preferred but not required).
● Ability to work independently and follow structured routines.
● Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Physical Requirements
● Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
● Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds.
● Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout shift.
Reporting Structure
● Reports to: Office Manager / First Shift CST
