Paint & Body Helper

WHAT AWAITS YOU.
- Prepare body and paint on vehicles and components according to established standards and operating procedures; perform polishing, buffing, nibbing, sanding, reassembly, and cleaning as needed to complete repairs.
- Ensure accurate entry and updates of all service orders, parts, and technician comments in the VMS Service Order System.
- Maintain work area safety and cleanliness; manage assigned tools and equipment.
- Conduct overall quality inspection on all repaired vehicles.
- Properly store, tag, and return replaced parts.
This position requires lifting and carrying up to 50 lb., driving, pulling, kneeling, reaching, standing, twisting, walking, climbing, pushing, squatting, hearing, reading, writing, and exposure to variations in temperature and high noise.
This role requires full time attendance at the facility and is a 1st shift (6:00AM - 2:30PM) position.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational/specialist training in automotive body repair.
- Experience in automotive paint and body repairs.

The hourly pay rate for this position is $38.53 (per collective bargaining agreement).
Supplemental earning potential includes shift differential and overtime. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.
