We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and modify torque tool systems. The applicant should be comfortable seeing a project from initial brainstorming, testing, analysis, design, and hands-on prototyping, to final delivery and documentation.

Requirements:

• 5 Years Minimum Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
• A Demonstrable Track Record of Successful Project Outcomes

Technical Skills:

• Brushless Motor Drive design experience
• Testing and analysis of electromechanical systems
• Analog and Digital Circuit design, simulation, and analysis
• Embedded Microprocessors
• Fundamental Understanding of Microcontroller Programming
• PID control systems
• AC and DC Powered Systems
• Layout of High Voltage Printed Circuit Boards
• EMC, EMI, ESD testing and compliance
• Mechanical Packaging
• Thermal Analysis
• Reliability Analysis
• Good hands-on skills for prototyping and troubleshooting systems

A Plus:

• Knowledge of UL & CE Requirements
• Experience with electric handheld tools

The wage range for this role considers various factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has been adjusted for the applicable geographic location at which the position may be filled. For an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation, decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90,000 to $120,000.
