BASIC FUNCTION

Floating Financial Center Service Representative (FCSR) is generally more experienced and is responsible for processing a variety of financial transactions including check cashing, withdrawals, deposits and loan payments. This position is responsible for managing and balancing a cash drawer and preparing daily paperwork according to branch procedures. The FCSR is responsible for engaging clients during their transaction to identify any customer needs and refer them over to the platform for fulfillment. The FCSR is responsible for providing an extraordinary customer experience by executing Spencer’s customer service behaviors with every client interaction. They also assist the Assistant Financial Center Manager with teller line and end of day proof functions. Works under general supervision.

The Floating FCSR is required to provide coverage/support across the entire branch network as directed by the Market Manager.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Operates a teller window to process all types of banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, payments, buy/sell cash and cashier’s checks
2. Responsible for providing a consistent extraordinary client experience by executing on Spencer’s customer service behaviors
3. Researches and resolves all transaction errors that occur and engages management support when needed
4. Executes the internal sales process by engaging the customer in conversation during the customer transaction to identify needs and refers them to the platform
5. Operates within the confines of the bank’s compliance and operational policy and procedures
6. Diligently completes all necessary paperwork such as CTRs, SARs etc… accurately and in a timely manner
7. Assists Assistant Financial Center Manager with end-of-day branch proof tasks including ATM and Vault
8. Participates in internal and external branch events as well as local community events
9. Must be able to work a flexible hourly schedule as requested
10. May be asked to travel & work at other branches in the network
11. Presents a professional image
12. Provides access to safe deposit boxes
13. Opens and/or closes branch with management
14. Perform other duties as require

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education:

High school diploma or GED

• 6 months - 2 years in a retail sales/service environment preferred
