Mechanical Foreman (2 Openings)

Location: Franklinville, NJ
Pay: $32 – $38/hr + OT after 40 hrs
Employment Type: Direct Hire (for one of our sister company clients)

We’re Hiring Two High-Level Mechanical Foremen!

Fritz Staffing Group is seeking two experienced Mechanical Foremen with strong backgrounds in millwright work and welding for commercial and industrial projects. This is a direct hire opportunity with one of our sister company clients .

We’re looking for leaders — individuals we can groom to run and lead day-to-day operations while working closely with crews and project managers. There’s also a potential opportunity to earn a company truck based on performance.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and supervise crews on large-scale industrial projects

• Oversee daily operations and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently

• Install, maintain, and relocate machinery and heavy equipment

• Perform and manage welding and fabrication work ( AWS D1.1 certification required )

• Assemble/install gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, bearings, and couplings

• Perform precision alignments using laser tools, micrometers, and dial indicators

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and direct repairs

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

• Occasionally travel for out-of-town projects ( typically 1–2 weeks at a time )

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and site-specific regulations

What We’re Looking For

• Two high-level Mechanical Foremen ready to take ownership of day-to-day operations

• Proven experience in millwright work and welding

• AWS D1.1 welding certification required

• Ability to lead crews and manage daily production

• Strong background with machinery installation, conveyors, and rigging

• Skilled in reading blueprints and supervising technical tasks

• Local candidates only (must live within commuting distance of Franklinville, NJ)

• Must be open to occasional travel for 1–2 weeks at a time

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
