This position is full time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm EST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
We offer 4 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of training will be aligned with your schedule.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Researches, obtains and enters missing information/demographics for completion of accessions.
+ Obtains accurate missing information for processing of a medical claim.
+ Reviews and researches denied claims for potential resolution. Reports problems and errors to management in an effective and efficient manner.
+ Makes outbound calls to clients, carriers and/or any internal or external source as needed to resolve issues.
+ Answers inbound calls from clients, carriers and/or any internal or external source as needed to resolve issues. (Strong Phone Skills)
+ Responds to the clients through written correspondence if unable to resolve via phone.
+ Handles sensitive client and patient interactions.
+ Meets or exceeds all production and quality goals and adhere to all policies and procedures.
+ Works independently and as part of a team.
+ Other duties as assigned.

**Required Qualifications:**
+ High School Diploma / GED
+ Must be 18 years OR older
+ 1+ year of experience handling inbound and outbound calls with clients or patients
+ 1+ year of knowledge and experience in the healthcare and insurance billing industry
+ 1+ years of experience conducting health insurance-related research
+ Recent experience with Microsoft Excel (understanding Pivot Tables, sort / filter, work within tables)
+ Ability in using computer and Windows PC applications, which includes keyboard and navigation skills and learning new computer programs
+ Ability to work 8:00 am - 04:30 pm EST, Monday- Friday. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
