The Coordinator – Tank wash manages the daily operations of cleaning, sanitizing, and inspecting industrial tank trailers for hazardous, non-hazardous, or food-grade materials. Key responsibilities include scheduling wash bays, managing customer service, preparing documentation (wash tickets/PO), ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing safety standards.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the daily workload, prioritizing tanks for cleaning to ensure efficient turnaround times.
- Act as the primary contact for customers, providing updates on tank status and resolving issues.
- Maintain accurate records, manage wash tickets, and generate reports on cleaning activities and metrics.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, including OSHA and environmental guidelines, during the cleaning process.
- Daily digital yard check, verifying trailers in RMS and supporting the terminal for scheduling.
- Requesting PO's and wash tickets
- Assist customers and drivers
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and technicians
- Previous experience in a fast-paced office setting or automotive environment is often preferred
- Knowledge of computers, MS Office/Excel, and wash management software.
- Fluent in Spanish is a plus
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, and days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office and computer equipment.
