Job Overview:

K9 Doodie Patrol is a fast-growing professional dog waste removal service, dedicated to helping homeowners and communities keep their outdoor spaces clean and healthy. We are currently hiring a reliable, self-motivated Field Technician to perform residential yard cleanups and manage routine pet waste removal services.

This is a physical, independent, and rewarding outdoor job for someone who loves dogs, fresh air, and takes pride in doing meaningful work.

Responsibilities:

• Drive assigned routes to perform scheduled residential and commercial dog waste removal.

• Walk and inspect properties thoroughly to locate and scoop dog waste.

• Collect and securely bag all waste and place in designated garbage receptacles.

• Lift and carry waste buckets or bags weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Follow specific client notes regarding gate access, dog behavior, and property details.

• Maintain a courteous, professional demeanor with clients and community members.

• Report any issues (i.e. loose dogs, broken gates, or access problems) promptly to the owner.

• Use mobile phone for route tracking, communication, and job completion logging.

• Handle occasional unexpected cleanup needs (e.g., goose or deer droppings, minor trash).

• Ensure all tools and equipment are cleaned and maintained daily.

Requirements:

• Must love dogs and feel comfortable entering backyards with pets present.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (gas allowance provided).

• Ability to work independently and responsibly without direct supervision.

• Physically fit – able to walk up to 5 milles per shift, bend, lift, and carry equipment.

• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Smartphone with ability to use GPS and text messaging.

• Strong attention to detail and respect for clients’ property.

• Prior experience with pets, dog walking, or yard work is a plus.
