Location

Wayne, New Jersey — this is a fully on-site role with daily work at job sites and yard locations throughout the region

Note

This role requires an active CDL Class A license and hands-on experience driving commercial vehicles and operating heavy equipment in construction or landscaping environments

Job Description

• Drive and operate commercial trucks to transport materials, equipment, and crews
• Load, unload, and properly secure materials using approved tie-down procedures
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain driver logs
• Operate heavy equipment including excavators, backhoes, and skid steers
• Assist with landscape construction and general job site duties as needed
• Use GPS and maps to plan efficient travel routes
• Report equipment condition using service and hazard reports
• Support snow and ice operations during winter months, including on-call work
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with all safety regulations

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A driver's license in good standing
• Experience operating commercial vehicles and heavy equipment
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
• Reliable, team-oriented work ethic with schedule flexibility
