TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technologist for travel assignments in various healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will assist in diagnosing and treating cardiac arrhythmias through electrophysiology (EP) studies, ablations, and device implantations. This role requires expertise in operating EP lab equipment, monitoring patients during procedures, and collaborating with cardiologists and healthcare teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist in electrophysiology studies, catheter ablations, and pacemaker/ICD implantations.
- Operate and maintain EP lab equipment, including mapping and ablation systems.
- Monitor and record patient vitals and electrocardiographic data during procedures.
- Prepare and position patients for EP procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in the EP lab.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient responses.
- Follow infection control, radiation safety, and sterile field protocols.
- Travel to assigned healthcare facilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Electrophysiology, or a related field.
- Certification: Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an EP lab or cardiovascular setting.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of cardiac electrophysiology, excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to accept travel assignments and relocate as needed.
