Java Fullstack Lead

Akkodis is seeking a Java Fullstack Lead for a Contract with a client in Dallas, TX/ Tampa, FL/ Jersey City, NJ. You will lead end‑to‑end feature development and mentor teams while ensuring scalable, cloud‑native, and high‑quality solutions .

Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java Fullstack Lead job responsibilities include:

• Lead modernization of financial applications by designing and developing full‑stack solutions using Java Spring Boot, Angular, and cloud‑native technologies.

• Drive technical excellence through code reviews, performance optimization, and implementation of scalable microservices architectures.

• Build end‑to‑end features across UI and backend services, ensuring secure, maintainable, and high‑quality application delivery.

• Mentor developers, guide technical processes, and champion improvements in engineering best practices and CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to deploy and support applications across on‑prem and cloud environments.

• Troubleshoot complex issues, ensuring high system uptime and reliability while adhering to Agile methodologies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 15+ years of hands‑on experience in full‑stack development with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and modern frontend frameworks.

• Proven ability to design and deliver scalable cloud‑native applications using AWS, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.

• Strong leadership experience in guiding teams, conducting code reviews, and driving best practices across Agile development environments.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
