Fitness Center Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Center Operations Manager to join our team at our Montclair location.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and member experience.

• Ensure every member receives exceptional service and support throughout their fitness journey.

• Drive revenue growth through effective sales, marketing, and community engagement strategies.

• Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and organizations to promote the MAX Fitness & Wellness brand.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility at all times.

• Collaborate with the MAX Fitness & Wellness corporate team to ensure compliance with brand standards and operational procedures.

• Develop and implement programs that improve member retention and overall satisfaction.

• Manage inventory, ordering, and budgeting efficiently.

• Foster a positive, supportive, and high-performing team culture.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of hospitality or fitness industry experience .

• Strong leadership and communication skills with a proven ability to motivate teams.

• Excellent customer service skills and relationship-building abilities.

• Understanding of fitness industry trends and best practices.

• Experience implementing sales and marketing strategies to drive growth.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends (occasional on-call availability).

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Experience managing budgets, inventory, and ordering processes.

• Passion for fitness, wellness, and helping others achieve their goals.

• Must have a reliable vehicle for daily commuting between locations.

Compensation & Benefits

• $50,000 base salary + uncapped bonus structure
