Job Posting Title: Payroll Assistant
Time Type: Full Time
As a member of the US Shared Services Payroll team, you'll be responsible for ensuring accurate processing and recording of company’s payroll, provide timely and accurate information, and participate in daily entry and maintenance of key Payroll information.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for timely entry of US & Canadian employee Direct Deposits and Federal/State/Provincial Tax elections
- Process Wage Withholding orders (Garnishment, Lien, Levy) via ADP upload
- Assist with ADP Wisely Card assignment and funding
- Assist with verification of employment inquiries
- Responsible for downloading and saving Employer Quarterly & Annual Tax Filings
- Troubleshoot and resolve employee ADP Employee Self-Service access issue
- Process employee ADP Employee Self-Service password account resets
- Responsible for the assignment and flow of Zendesk Payroll tickets
- Sort and distribute pay checks each pay period
- Daily mail collection and distribution
- Assist with daily payroll department operations
- Manage additional projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Ability to maintain strict adherence to confidentiality
- Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel
- Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now & ADP Reporting
- Strong work ethic and team player.
- High degree of professionalism.
- Strong (verbal and written) communication skills.
- Ability to communicate with various levels of management.
- Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
For this position, the expected base pay range is $23.00 – $27.00 . Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
