Job SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our warehouse team. The Picker/Packer is responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Pick products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications
- Pack items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transit
- Verify order accuracy (quantities, product codes, shipping details)
- Label packages correctly and prepare them for dispatch
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or handheld scanners (if certified)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow company safety procedures and warehouse guidelines
- Report damaged goods or inventory discrepancies to supervisors
- Assist with stock replenishment and inventory counts as required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience is an advantage
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to ___ lbs/kg)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Basic math and reading skills
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends if required
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Bending, lifting, and carrying products
- Repetitive hand movements
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Forklift certification (if applicable)
- Knowledge of inventory control processes
