Accounts Receivable & Collections Clerk

Position Title: Collections Clerk Starting compensation: $21 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining credit history files.
• Documenting daily collections activities.
• Maximizing cash receipts.
• Contacting customers regarding overdue accounts.
• Overseeing customer payments.
• Collect and process payments daily.
• Service customers and drivers.
• Invoicing, filing, Counter transactions.
• Back-order transactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a similar role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive customer and financial information.
• Strong data entry skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are a plus but not required.
• Ability to work on-site at the New Jersey location.
