Communications Coordinator - Lake Stockwell
The Communications Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Camp Director with administrative duties.
This job announcement is not intended to be inclusive of all functions, responsibilities and qualifications associated with the position, however, representative of the essential job functions and typical criteria considered necessary to successfully perform the position.
Responsibilities:- Daily tasks include parent phone calls, weekly emails to parents, transportation management, coordinating Explorers field trips, Family Night set up and staff updates.
- Assistant Camp Director with daily operation of camp programs and developing and implementing schedule changes, risk management procedures, etc.
- Supervise and participate in all assigned aspects of the campers’ day which includes but is not limited to: camper check-in and check-out, meal times, activities and extedned am and pm care duties, as assigned.
- Attend and participate in two weeks of Administrative Staff Training and General Staff Training.
- The incumbent must be 20 years of age or older.
- Knowledge in the daily operation of camp programs, including staff and camper supervision.
- Knowledge in safety, care of equipment and supplies, inventory, skill instructions and progressive age appropriate programming is required.
- Relevant experience in drafting and responding to emails, as well as making phone calls, is required.
- Proficiency in Canva, Google programs, and Remind is preferred.
- Show enthusiasm, dedication, responsibility and matruirty and have the ability to interact and communicate clearly with campers, parents and staff.
