Zing Recruiting, in partnership with an established manufacturer in the Riverdale, NJ area is on the search for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team!

Shift: 1st 6AM – 3:15PM
Pay Rate: $23-$25

Objective:
Ensure all incoming extrusion materials meet specifications and that non-conforming product is identified and properly segregated.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Review supplier paperwork and labeling
• Inspect incoming extrusion for:
  • Correct dimensions and profile shape
  • Damage (dents, scratches, stains, warping)
  • Contamination (oil, debris, foreign material)
• Record inspection results and document records
• Tag material as acceptable or nonconforming
• Complete nonconformance reports for material failing inspection and notify appropriate parties
• Sort through material with known nonconformities
• Additional related tasks as required by Manager

Success Profile:

• Experience using measurement tools such as caliper and taper gage
• Ability to read basic Engineering Drawings
• Comfortable using basic Windows computer programs
• File Explorer, Email, Word, Excel
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
