Compensation: $190,000 - $260,000 Annual Salary

Position Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and exceptional VP Risk Management & Claims   for our SNF in Toms River, NJ . This is a full-time, hybrid position, Monday through Friday from 9am- 5pm.

Qualifications of the  VP Risk Management & Claims:

• 10+ years’ experience in risk management, insurance, or claims leadership.
• Strong expertise in GL/PL, EL/EPLI, SIRs, deductibles, aggregates, and insurance program structures.
• Proven track record managing large claim portfolios and legal spend.
• Advanced analytical skills with strong Excel and data-management capability.
• Experienced working with Legal, Finance, brokers, carriers, counsel, and TPAs.
• Highly organised, detail-driven, and able to lead cross-functional risk initiatives.

Responsibilities of the VP Risk Management & Claims:

• Oversee all claims, exposures, reserves, and insurance program utilisation.
• Approve and manage claim-related invoices, legal spend, and budgeting workflows.
• Track and report key insurance metrics (SIRs, deductibles, premiums, aggregates).
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date logs of all claims and incidents.
• Analyse trends in claim frequency, severity, settlements, and defence costs.
• Provide timely reports and risk insights to Legal, Finance, brokers, carriers, TPAs, and counsel.
• Drive risk-management strategy, controls, and process improvements.
