Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU Float

Location: Edison, NJ 08818

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3x12s | Every other weekend | Holidays required | No on-call

Hours per Week: 36

Travel Rate: $2,380/week

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU Float for an exciting job in Edison, NJ.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team.

• Deliver therapeutic nursing interventions while continuously monitoring and documenting patient progress.

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based patient care in compliance with hospital standards and nursing best practices.

• Support interdisciplinary care coordination and patient/family education.

• Float as required to Telemetry and Step-Down units (4W or 5N) , with a maximum of four Telemetry patients.

• Minimum 2+ years of recent ICU/CCU experience, including Neuro ICU .

• At least 1 year of recent experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing within an acute care or trauma hospital ( Level 1 or Level 2 preferred ).

• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and critical thinking skills.

• Ability and willingness to float between ICU, Telemetry, and Step-Down units as assigned.

• Required: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN)

• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

• Active New Jersey RN License or Compact State License

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

• 4-Hour CEU in Stroke Education

• Telemetry Certification
