SUMMARY
Hands-on role building complex prototypes from start to finish—programming, fixturing, setups, and production on both CNC mills and lathes (including live tooling). You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, recommend design-for-manufacture tweaks, and hold tight tolerances on short-run projects. Expect autonomy, modern equipment, and a steady day-shift schedule Monday–Friday.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Interpret drawings and models; advise on stock, tooling lists, and fixturing to reliably hit critical tolerances.
• Program, set up, and operate 3- and 4-axis CNC milling centers for prototype work.
• Program, set up, and operate CNC turning centers with live tooling and C-axis; experience with twin-turret/twin-spindle and bar feeder is a plus.
• Hold tight tolerances and validate results using micrometers, calipers, gauge blocks, indicators, and related metrology tools.
• Assist with inspection, precision sub-assemblies, and creation of time/material estimates for new work.
• Own setup and breakdown tasks; select and procure tooling as needed, maintaining clear communication with project leads.

QUALIFICATIONS
• 7+ years of CNC milling/turning experience (10+ preferred) in a prototype or short-run environment.
• CAM proficiency (Mastercam or similar; familiarity with CREO welcomed).
• Solid grasp of GD comfortable working directly from 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Fixture design experience using 3D CAD for repeatable, accurate setups.
• Wire EDM exposure preferred (not required).
• Able to lift 30+ lbs and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with Windows and Microsoft 365; strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Background check and drug screening may be required.
