As Arcade Merchandising Manager, you’ll keep our arcade looking sharp, stocked, and guest-ready—so every win feels extra satisfying. You’ll guide daily merchandising and inventory flow, keep displays on-brand, and make smart, quick calls to protect the guest experience and the numbers.
Required qualifications/skills:- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills
- Inventory management and basic financial tracking experience
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Active, hands-on MOD role requiring continuous floor presence
- Work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent education
- Previous experience in arcade management, amusement operations, or retail merchandising
- Demonstrated ability to act as sole MOD when assigned
- Bilingual preferred, but not required
Duties and Responsibilities
Arcade Operations & Management:
- Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) for the full duration of scheduled shift
- Maintain continuous oversight of arcade operations, staff performance, and guest experience while on duty
- Open and close the arcade according to company procedures
- Supervise, train, schedule, and coach arcade staff
- Enforce company policies, safety procedures and guest service standards
- Handle guest concerns, incidents, and escalated service issues promptly and professionally
- Monitor game performance and coordinate maintenance and repairs
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations and company policies
Merchandising & Redemption Management:
- Manage all prize and redemption merchandise inventory
- Order, receive, price, and display prizes to maximize appeal and redemption value
- Maintain organized prize rooms and redemption counters
- Track inventory levels, shrinkage, and usage trends
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Create visually appealing prize displays that drive player engagement
- Ensure prizes are age-appropriate, safe, and aligned with brand standards
Financial & Administrative:
- Monitor redemption costs and maintain target prize cost percentages
- Handle cash control, ticket counts, and point/ticket balances
- Prepare inventory and operational reports as required
- Assist with budgeting, audits, and cost-control initiatives
Guest Experience & Sales Support:
- Actively lead the floor as MOD during peak and non-peak hours
- Promote arcade programs, specials, and events
- Support birthday parties, group events, and special promotions
- Ensure games, redemption counters, and floor areas are adequately staffed
