Job Overview Kushi Labs is seeking a reliable, responsible, and enthusiast Packaging Technicians to join our team.

The Packaging Technician will support all aspects of production, including preparing, processing, and packaging cannabis (including but not limited to flower, distillate/oil, rosin, resin, and diamonds) and infused products. You will operate equipment, handle raw materials, labels, packaging and final products, track maintain compliance records and daily production and collaborate with colleagues to keep our fast-paced operations running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Duties

• Label, package, and prepare finished products for distribution to the fulfillment team.
• Operate light machinery
• Set up areas for packaging and production
• Properly dispose of packaging and trash
• Track and report your daily production
• Stand for the shift and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Label bags, tubes boxes, and bottles, insert finished goods (including vapes, prerolls, gummies, and liquids), and heat seal, twist, or other close containers, and packed the packaging items into case packs.
• Demolding and sugaring of gummies.
• Assist with the maintenance of detailed batch records and compliance documentation in METRC and Canix.
• Perform quality assurance protocols as designated by Kushi Labs’ procedures.
• Comply with NJ cannabis regulations and company safety standards at all times.
• Collaborate closely with teammates in production, fulfillment, and logistics to meet daily goals.
• Future tasks could include preparing and filling products, including but not limited vape cartridges, disposables, pre-rolls, and edibles, as well as supporting formulation of new products.
• Demonstrate a high level of detail and accuracy in all inventory-related tasks.
• Perform other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.

Experience & Qualifications

• Must be at least 25 years of age.
• Must have transportation to the facility.
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive state-mandated background check.
• RollPros or Automated Vape Filling experience preferred.
