B&B Siding and Roofing Hiring In-House Event Marketing Manager

With the acquisition of Nu-Tek Roof Systems (nutekroofing.com), we have now expanded our reach into the commercial roofing space and intend to reach our new B&B audience with the same transparent quality service.
As our business grows, B&B Siding and Roofing is seeking an In-House Event Marketing Manager to join our growing team. In this hybrid role, your time will be split working from home and traveling to various retail locations. While working from home, you will assist with building the team and the number of retail opportunities. While out of the office, you will be required to visit current and potential retail partners, in addition to making site visits at assigned retail locations. Our Event Marketing Manager will provide support for new hire classes and ongoing training and development with current teammates. This position is one of purpose and longevity, and we’re seeking someone who is looking for a career and a home.

Job Responsibilities:
- Market and create opportunities from retail events such as Home Shows, Sporting, and other outdoor events
- Hire and develop canvassing team
- Research, prospect, and acquire new retail opportunities
- Manage the ongoing relationship of retail partnerships
- Manage program costs with innovative partnership structures
- Maintain weekly inventory of retail supplies; notify when supplies should be ordered
- Actively participate in recruiting efforts and refer potential teammates
- Assist in leading new hire classes and continuing training with teammates
- Create yearly and monthly goals that includes number of new retail locations, team members, set rate, and number of demos, among other performance metrics
- Foster a culture of encouragement, motivation, and support
Job Qualifications:
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Ability to lead, develop, and mentor a large team
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and detailed oriented
- Nurturing and professional attitude
- Reliable with a demonstrably strong work ethic
- Ability to deliver positive yet honest feedback to teammates based on performance
- Ability to organize and prioritize based on the needs of the organization
- Experience managing a team preferred
- Must be able to travel for business needs
