Location: Neptune, NJ 07754

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3x12s | Every other weekend & holidays required | No on-call

Hours per Week: 36

Travel Rate: Up to $2,521/Week

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Emergency Department for an exciting job in Neptune, NJ .

Responsibilities:

• Perform rapid and accurate assessments of pediatric patients with a wide range of medical and trauma conditions.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

• Provide expert emergency nursing care, including resuscitation, stabilization, and ongoing management in Pediatric ED, PICU, NICU, and Triage.

• Educate and communicate effectively with patients’ families, offering support during stressful situations.

• Document nursing interventions and patient responses in accordance with hospital policies and standards of care.

• Advocate for evidence-based nursing practices and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

• Float to similar units within the facility as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 18 months of pediatric ED nursing experience, including experience within the past six months.

• Proficient in clinical assessment, emergency interventions, and care for pediatric trauma and medical emergencies.

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills to work effectively under pressure.

Education:

• Required: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN)

• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licenses & Certifications:

• Active New Jersey RN license or Compact State License

• BLS (AHA)

• ACLS (AHA)

• PALS (AHA)

• NIH Stroke Scale certification

• 4-hour CEU in Stroke Education

• Telemetry certification

• Preferred: NRP and ENPC certifications
