Director, Construction Services Public Infrastructure

Location: Haddonfield New Jersey

Job Type: Full-Time Direct Hire

Salary Range: $150000 $175000

This is a key leadership opportunity for an experienced professional to join our clients management team in Haddonfield NJ as the Director Construction Services . This role involves managing the entire construction services division overseeing NICET-certified staff and providing critical support for major public infrastructure projects across the region.

This position is a high-visibility role with the potential for a partnership/shareholder track for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Division Management: Lead and manage all construction services activities and personnel within the department.
• Staff Oversight: Oversee and direct NICET-certified inspection and support staff on various project sites.
• Project Oversight: Provide comprehensive oversight for major public infrastructure projects ensuring they meet quality schedule and budget requirements.
• Agency Relationship Management: Leverage extensive experience working with key New Jersey state agencies (e.g. NJDOT NJTA SJTA ) to secure and execute contracts.
• Business Development: Actively participate in business development activities to expand the firms construction management portfolio.
• Project Control: Implement and manage processes for Primavera scheduling cost control QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control) and construction administration.

Required Qualifications

Education & Licensure

• Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Engineering is required.
• Licensure (Mandatory): Must hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license OR NICET Level IV certification .
• Experience: Demonstrated project oversight and management experience in large-scale construction or public works.

Core Expertise & Skills

• Agency Experience: Proven track record and existing relationships working with New Jersey public agencies (NJDOT NJTA SJTA etc.).
• Management: Strong business development leadership and staff mentorship capabilities.
• Software & Processes: Expertise in using construction management tools including Primavera and thorough knowledge of cost control QA/QC and construction administration practices.
