Package & Delivery Driver

Join a well-established FedEx contractor based in the South Carteret, New Jersey Terminal, as an Evening Package & Delivery Driver. This role is ideal for individuals who are reliable, customer-focused, and enjoy working independently in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of the team, you will play an important role in ensuring packages are picked up and delivered promptly and safely to customers, representing the company with professionalism and courtesy. Evening shifts run from 4pm to 9pm, with opportunities for additional hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently deliver and pick up a variety of packages to and from customer locations within assigned areas.
• Operate company vehicles and follow all DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Use GPS and route planning tools to ensure timely pick-up, deliveries and optimize routes.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers to enhance satisfaction.
• Request feedback from customers regarding service quality.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily goals.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving history.
• No CDL required; basic delivery knowledge preferred.
• Ability to complete a DOT physical (or possess a Medical Certificate Card) and pass a drug screening, including random drug tests.
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
