Knowledge, skills, education, and/or experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of MRO Purchasing and/or materials management experience and supply chain.

Mandatory skills/certification(s) Requirement:

• Computer proficiency in Microsoft -Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.

Desired skills:

• Sourcing, Expediting, Customer Service, Vendor Management and Inventory Management.

Job Duties:

• Solicitation Management Responsibilities
• Solicitations (Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitations for Bids (IFBs)) assigned to Purchasing Agents typically are small procurements or select activities within a larger solicitation.
• Assures the inclusion of the proposed specifications, within solicitations as required.
• Gathers quotes and conducts simple bid and proposal processes. Distributes bid and proposal packages, and communicates with vendors, contractors, and consultants. Tabulates bids and proposals.
• Reviews bids and proposals.
• Coordinates contract approval and execution process
• Issues Purchase Orders (POs) against Requisitions in support of procurements or for stand-alone small purchases.
• Assures that all required documents, representations, and certifications are properly executed and attached to POs and associated files as required
• .Contract Management Responsibilities
• Issues changes to POs against Requisitions in support of changes.
• Performs closeout of contracts.
• Systems of Record Responsibilities
• Performs all duties within the currently approved systems of record or, where manual processes are employed, properly maintains documents in conformance with document control policies. • Training & Development Responsibilities
• Remain current on all required training.
• Other Responsibilities
• Tracks and reports on work activities with the end result being professional, transparent, efficient in execution of duties.
• Provides prompt responsive customer service to client departments on their procurements. • Performs other duties as assigned by Procurement Leadership
