SETTLEMENT CLOSING COORDINATOR | PROCESSOR | ESCROW OFFICER W/ EXPERIENCE

Job Summary: As a Closing Coordinator, you'll work closely in a team to facilitate approximately 30 monthly closing transactions. Strong people skills are crucial for coordinating with attorneys, lenders, loan officers, and real estate offices. You must think quickly, be analytical, detail-oriented, and meet tight deadlines. Gathering data, preparing reports, and scheduling closings are part of your responsibilities. A positive attitude and the ability to have fun are also required.

Responsibilities:

• Completes real estate escrow transactions by fulfilling requirements.
• Collects and reviews required documents.
• Calculates prorated taxes and interest.
• Prepares CD/HUD by utilizing lender instructions.
• Assembles prepares, and reviews closing documents; prepares checks.
• Closes escrow account by balancing and disbursing funds.
• Complies with regulatory requirements by adhering to requirements.
• Explores opportunities to add value to the client experience.

Qualifications:

• Two years of experience as an escrow officer, closing coordinator, or real-estate paralegal is preferred.
• Customer service-oriented.
• Ability to communicate clearly and confidently by phone and email.
• Strong multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in logic-based problem-solving.
• Comfortable with numbers and calculations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer programs.
• Typing speed of 45 WPM.
• Experience with Accutitle is a bonus!
