The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.
This position is responsible for reviewing project funding/drawdown requests submitted by project teams. This position is also expected to consult project teams and to provide the best effective way to move forward projects, considering the adherence to corporate governance rules, assessing the feasibility and justification of project plans (cost, schedule, scope), optimizing costs, identifying risks, and verifying that the appropriate level of detail is provided within the documentation.
Responsibilities
Providing guidance to project teams to resolve complex situations. Mitigate risks in unique situations; offering support with toolsets (Project Portfolio Portal - in-house tool, MS Project, PlanView, etc.) and coordinating with the Tokyo Home Office for funding/drawdown approvals when required. Additionally, this position will package funding/drawdown requests based on information provided by Project Managers (summarizing the request, inputting information into cost plans, etc.) for expedited approvals.
Qualifications
More than 5 years of experience in IT project management in financial industry is preferred.
Attention to detail is a MUST - validation of numbers and dates is required daily.
Requires being onsite at the NJ office (Harborside) 4 days a week.
Bilingual (Japanese/English) capability is necessary to understand Tokyo Head Office procedure and direction, and the communication with the team in the Tokyo Head Office.
The typical base pay range for this role is between $120K - $157K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
