About the Opportunity:

We're seeking a Senior Engineering Technician to support advanced engineering and prototype development programs in a high-tech defense environment. In this role, you'll work alongside engineering teams to build, test, troubleshoot, and maintain sophisticated electro-mechanical systems and specialized test equipment while mentoring junior technicians and supporting critical development initiatives.

What You'll Do:

• Support engineering activities, including testing, fabrication, assembly, modification, and checkout of prototype electro-mechanical systems and specialized equipment
• Interpret complex engineering drawings, schematics, and diagrams to support system integration and troubleshooting activities
• Perform system-level and component-level troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs
• Build, calibrate, install, adjust, and maintain engineering equipment, devices, and systems
• Work from written instructions, layouts, schematics, and verbal direction to execute testing and engineering support tasks
• Mentor and support junior technicians within the engineering team

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• Associate's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience with 5+ years of relevant engineering technician experience
• 5+ years of experience troubleshooting electro-mechanical or electronic systems to the component level
• 3+ years of experience interpreting engineering schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings
• 3+ years of experience supporting testing, calibration, fabrication, or assembly activities in engineering environments
