Regional Sales and Marketing Leader

Role Overview
We are seeking a high-impact Regional Sales & Marketing Director to lead growth strategy across the North Alabama market. This executive-level leader will own regional census performance, referral development, and go-to-market execution across multiple post-acute service lines.
This role is designed for a proven operator who understands how to penetrate hospital systems, activate physician networks, and build a disciplined sales engine that drives measurable results — not just activity.
You will partner closely with operations and clinical leadership to align growth strategy with capacity, quality outcomes, and service line expansion.
Role Purpose
- Own regional census growth strategy across multiple facilities and services
- Build, develop, and lead a high-performing regional sales team
- Strengthen hospital, physician, and community referral pipelines
- Align marketing strategy with operational capacity, clinical programs, and strategic priorities
Key Responsibilities
Regional Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute the regional go-to-market strategy across skilled nursing, hospice, and home health
- Identify priority referral targets, market opportunities, and competitive positioning
- Drive consistent pipeline discipline and growth planning across the region
Sales Leadership
- Manage, coach, and develop facility liaisons and marketers
- Establish performance expectations, accountability rhythms, and field strategy
- Elevate sales capability through coaching, ride-alongs, and performance reviews
Referral & Market Development
- Build and deepen relationships with hospitals, case management teams, ACOs, physician groups, and payers
- Increase referral penetration within priority health systems
- Strengthen community visibility and strategic partnerships
Data & Performance Management
- Analyze referral data, conversion metrics, LOS mix, and market share
- Lead CRM discipline and reporting cadence
- Translate insights into action plans that drive census growth
Growth Initiatives
- Support new service line launches and geographic expansion
- Partner with operators and clinical leadership to align growth with capacity
- Identify market gaps and emerging opportunities
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5–10+ years of healthcare sales leadership experience
- Experience across at least two: skilled nursing, hospice, home health
- Multi-site regional responsibility
- Demonstrated track record of driving census growth
- Strong hospital and health system relationship background
- Data-driven operator comfortable managing pipeline, conversion, and LOS mix
- Experience building and leading sales teams

- Regional census growth and occupancy improvement
- Referral volume by source and priority accounts
- Conversion rate from referral to admission
- Hospital penetration and share of discharge volume
