POSITION SUMMARY:

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth

development, healthy living and social responsibility. Maintains a safe, nurturing place for children to play while

members use the facility in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Delivers excellent customer service by greeting and checking in all members

2. Creates meaningful relationships with children and parents

3. Ensures safety of children

4. Oversees Arts & Craft projects

5. Helps maintain a clean room and clean toys

Requirements:

1. Must love working with children

2. Must have experience working with children ages 0-10 years of age

3. Must have the ability to communicate well with children and parents

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

5. Ability to plan, lead and participate in a range of activities in a variety of outdoor/indoor setting
