The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.
The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
Job Overview:
The Special Procedures/Cath Lab Technologist is proficient in the performance of a variety of complex specialized tasks eminent in operating radiographic equipment to perform but not limited to cardiovascular and special radiology angiographic and interventional procedures.
Qualifications:
Required:
Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology or CVT program
EKG, BLS and ALS Certifications
Minimum 2 years Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring experience
Must live within 30 minutes of the hospitals to meet required response time for on-call shifts
Preferred:
- RCIS certification preferred
- National registry with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
Scheduling Requirements:
- Per Diem
- 7am - 7:30pm, on-call required
Essential Functions:
- Duties include, but not limited to scrubbing, recording, and fluoroscopy operation, Problem solving, critical thinking, decisive judgment, collaboration, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment are necessary skills to ensure success
