Maintenance Mechanic

The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for making repairs and performing preventative maintenance on facility and manufacturing equipment. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment and assisting senior maintenance staff in maintaining plant mechanical and building equipment.

• Assist in maintaining plant mechanical and building equipment.
• Install piping and mechanical equipment as directed.
• Troubleshoot and repair routine mechanical failures or malfunctions.
• Acquire knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Assist in the construction and repair of all plant equipment.
• Maintain records as required.
• Perform duties of a B Maintenance Mechanic.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision.
• Ensure all assigned work areas are clean, orderly, and safe.

• Experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment.
• Proficiency with robotic controllers, pneumatic and hydraulic modules, and electromechanical sensing.
• Knowledge of automated systems and schematics.
• Experience with PLC programming.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and pneumatics.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• US citizenship required to meet Export Control Regulations.
• Minimum of 6 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment in an Electrician role.
• PLC experience is a plus.

This role is based in a heavy industrial casting plant where you may be exposed to the elements while moving between buildings.

This is a Permanent position based out of Sparta, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $69825.00 - $69825.00/yr.

Current company contributions are: • 3% of your eligible compensation regardless of whether you contribute to the plan, and • 100% of your deferred pre-tax savings up to 6% of your base pay. Vacation: • You will be eligible for 10 days of paid vacation per year, accrues as per policy (prorated based on your hire date) in accordance with the Company’s Vacation Policy, in addition to Company recognized holidays.

This is a fully onsite position in Sparta,NJ.
