Lending Specialist (Temp-to-Perm)

? Location: Fairfield, NJ (Onsite)
? Pay: $35–$45/hr (based on experience)

A leading financial institution in Fairfield, NJ is seeking an experienced Lending Specialist to support commercial lending operations from approval through closing and servicing. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm role offering excellent growth potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main point of contact for internal teams, clients, and lenders.

• Manage the loan pipeline and ensure timely closings.

• Review and coordinate loan documentation and due diligence.

• Partner with operations on booking, funding, payments, and reconciliations.

• Identify and resolve issues to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• 5–7 years of experience as a Lending Assistant or Loan Processor.

• Strong Microsoft Office skills; nCino experience a plus.

• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.

• Knowledge of Commercial Real Estate (CRE) or C&I loan documentation preferred.
