District Svcs Representative
Responsible to process all new business applications, act as first point of contact for customers, builders and electricians requesting new or upgraded services, set up new customer accounts, maintain customer records, create and maintain job folders from initiation through engineering and construction, perform material reconciliation/as-building of WMIS jobs, perform all clerical functions in the district, enter and process time records, and resolve customer complaints as necessary. Provide efficient customer service with both internal and external customers. Position may be required to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
Primary Duties: PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES- Provides efficient and courteous customer relations with both internal and external customers (15%)
- Supports district in preparation, maintenance and coordination of District processes and records, including invoice payments, supplies, job closings, and Monitoring and updating New service requests from initiation through provision of service, and final disposition of the construction job. (20%)
- Serves as time administrator (20%)
- Initiates and maintains district service requests and information using, but not limited to, CRM&B, ISU WMIS, Advantex, SAP and GIS. (20%)
- Supports District Emergency Restoration efforts and Office Safety Inspections (15%)
- Enforces company policies and procedures regarding district processes (10%)
- This is an individual contributor position that works under general supervision and frequently performs non-routine work. This position is expected to resolve most questions and problems through interaction with internal and/or external stakeholders, customers, executives, directors, managers, and staff across the organization, and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels. On occasion, may mentor less experienced colleagues.
- May require working extended hours and/or shift work to support business operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience demonstrating skill: performing general administrative duties simultaneously (for example filing, answering phones, making copies, faxing, sorting mail, sending mail, checking/responding to email).
- Experience demonstrating skill: operating office machines such as calculator, copier, computer, printer, fax machine, scanner, telephone, etc.
- Experience demonstrating skill: performing data entry into a computer.
- Experience demonstrating skill: resolving customer complaints and issues.
- Experience demonstrating skill: researching and interpreting customer information, work requests and/or applications.
- Experience demonstrating skill: communicating orally and in writing with others internal and external to the organization.
- Experience demonstrating skill: ensuring accuracy and being accountable for work (e.g., checking and verifying work).
- Experience demonstrating skill: performing mathematical calculations (for example, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, averages).
- Experience demonstrating skill: using PC-based word processing, spreadsheet and email software.
- Ability and willingness to: sit and input data into the computer for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability and willingness to work overtime and during emergencies with little or no notice, as required.
- Ability and willingness to work independently and accurately under tight deadlines.
- Ability and willingness to prioritize and multi-task work.
- Ability and willingness to travel to various locations as required.
- Ability and willingness to adhere to safety regulations and policies as required.
- Ability and willingness to maintain confidential information.
- Must successfully pass a Criminal History Background Check which consists of a 7-year criminal records check for felony convictions, if applicable.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must successfully pass qualification test.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of utility rates and tariffs.
- Experience demonstrating skill: processing customer work orders or new applications.
- Experience demonstrating skill: supporting emergency restoration efforts.
- Experience demonstrating skill: interpreting and understanding union contracts.
- Experience demonstrating skill: using WIMS,CRM&B, ISU and/or SAP.
- Prior experience with payroll and invoices
- Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $51,200.00/Yr. – $70,400.00/Yr.
