Project Manager – Building Automation / HVAC Controls

Location: South Jersey
Compensation: Competitive base + growth upside

A well-established commercial HVAC and building automation contractor in South Jersey is seeking a Project Manager with a strong technical background in building automation systems (BMS), HVAC controls, and capital improvement projects .

This is not a paper-pushing PM role. The position offers real involvement in project execution, estimating, and future leadership , with room to expand into management, supervisory, or even sales-oriented responsibilities depending on experience and interest.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage building automation and HVAC controls projects from kickoff through closeout

• Coordinate schedules, budgets, resources, and field teams

• Act as the technical bridge between engineering, operations, and clients

• Support estimating efforts and scope development

• Participate in capital improvement projects and system upgrades

• Help improve project delivery processes and operational efficiency

What We’re Looking For

• Several years of hands-on technical experience in:

  • BMS engineering or programming

  • HVAC equipment and controls

• Familiarity with one or more of the following platforms:

  • Siemens

  • Honeywell

  • Tridium / Niagara

• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and automation projects

• Someone interested in long-term growth , not just a title
