We have a high-impact inpatient-only assignment starting June 2, 2025 - Through the end of the year at a top-tier tertiary pediatric hospital in New Jersey. Whether you're available full-time or just a few weeks a month, this is a rare and lucrative opening.

Position Snapshot:

• Coverage: 1-2 weeks/month (7-day blocks, inpatient only)
• Setting : Pediatric Inpatient service with consults only - No outpatient
• Schedule : 24/7 call during each 7-day block (in-house & remote)
• Support: Work with APPs during the day; solo overnight/weekends
• EMR : EPIC
• Start Date : June 2, 2025 - Ongoing until perm hire in place

Clinical Focus:

• Inpatient consults for cases like Kawasaki disease, MIS-C, Osteomyelitis, sepsis, HIV in pediatrics, nosocomial infections, and more.
• Daily Rounds, antibiotic stewardship, infection control consultation
• Use tools like blood culture interpretation, CSF analysis, and viral PCR interpretation.

Locum Pay Advantage:

• Locum physicians can earn up to 50%+ more than standard W2 employed roles - without long-term commitment or administrative overload.

Ideal Candidates:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Infectious Disease
• NJ medical license preferred (or IMLC eligible)
• Comfortable managing consults independently and collaborating with APPs
