We are seeking a skilled Auto Mechanic/Auto Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, from passenger cars to heavy-duty trucks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical.

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.

• Utilize computerized diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues.

• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.

• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry advancements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive repair or completion of a certified automotive technician program.

• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification in one or more areas. Indeed

• Experience with diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles.

• Familiarity with NJ HD Truck Diesel Emissions Smoke Testing and NJ Motor Vehicle Inspections.

Work Schedule

• Repair and maintenance services: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

• Fuel sales: Saturday, hours vary.

• 24/7 emergency towing and roadside assistance.
