Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and reliable Veterinary Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has experience working in a small animal practice (feline-only experience a plus!), thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians during exams, diagnostics, and surgical procedures

• Handle and restrain cats using fear-free/low-stress techniques

• Administer medications (oral, topical, injectable) and treatments as prescribed

• Collect samples (blood, urine, feces) and perform in-house lab tests

• Place IV catheters and monitor patients under anesthesia

• Prepare surgical suite and maintain sterile environment

• Educate clients on preventative care, treatment plans, and at-home instructions

• Maintain accurate patient records and support front desk with appointment coordination as needed

• Monitor hospitalized patients and report changes in condition promptly

Qualifications:

• Licensed or certified Veterinary Technician preferred (CVT, LVT, RVT) or equivalent experience

• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a veterinary setting

• Strong feline handling and restraint skills

• Comfortable with blood draws, catheter placement, and anesthesia monitoring

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Team player with a positive, can-do attitude

• Availability for flexible scheduling, including rotating Saturdays
