The Short Story

Spitball is looking for an energetic, business-savvy people-person to lead our account team. The Account Director will spearhead our agency-wide approach to Client Service while also driving relationships with senior clients. This is an on-site position in our Red Bank, NJ office.

How Will You Create Impact?

As the Account Director you will passionately:

• Lead the account team to provide highly personalized service with value added business thinking to ensure the best client relationship with Spitball
• Help cross-functional teams develop integrated solutions for diverse brands and their needs
• Collaborate with Director and Executive teams to drive client strategy and agency growth.
• Learn all aspects of our clients’ business to position Spitball as a thought-leader partner to our clients
• Inspire account team and nurture professional growth through a defined plan
• Seek and secure new opportunities to expand our relationships within our client base
• Lead new business pitches
• Oversee schedules across clients to gain efficiencies and avoid delays
• Develop and/or review proposals and client contracts
• Seek to maximize client budgets and agency profitability
• Troubleshoot any client-related issues

• Can win at Solitaire and excel at Pictionary: You are a self-starter who can contribute individually while also getting the most out of their team in a collaborative environment
• Has dirty fingernails but cleans up nice: You aren’t afraid to roll-up your sleeves and dig into the nitty gritty work but also know how to flawlessly articulate the agency POV and work to senior clients
• Never aged out of kindergarten: You have been around the advertising/marketing block with at least 10 years of agency experience but still exude the same childhood energy you had when you entered this crazy profession
