Fire Sprinkler Technician (Riverdale)
We are looking for a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. As a Fire Sprinkler Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your role is critical in ensuring the safety and compliance of fire protection systems, safeguarding lives and property from potential fire hazards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fire safety codes, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering quality work. You will collaborate with other professionals, including engineers, contractors, and building managers, to ensure that fire sprinkler systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards. The job responsibilities for the Fire Sprinkler Technician include:
- Install fire sprinkler systems in accordance with design specifications and safety codes.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems.
- Diagnose and repair issues with fire sprinkler systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with engineers and contractors to review system designs and plans.
- Test fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with local and national fire safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance and repairs.
- Provide recommendations for system upgrades or replacements when necessary.
- Respond to emergency service calls to address urgent fire sprinkler issues.
Compensation details: 24-36 Hourly Wage
